The I-STORM Annual Meeting in 2021 was held from 12-15 October. Although this year’s event took place virtually and was therefore very different to what we are used to, it was fantastic to see our members around the world sharing and exchanging their valuable knowledge by contributing and discussing the topics presented.
Due to COVID, this 15th Annual Meeting was held online. Whilst we had hoped to hold the event in person, the ongoing uncertainty has meant we have taken the decision to postpone the in-person event to 2022. Although this online Annual Meeting was very different to what we are used to, the event still appeared to be a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge of recent projects, research and best practices, etc.
Sharing knowdledge internationally
On each of the four days, there was a 2 hour session from 15:00-17:00 (CEST), open to all our I-STORM members and covering a variety of topics based around different themes. This way all our members around the world were able to join the meeting and benefit from collaboration with international colleagues. It was fantastic to see so many people contributing and discussing the topics presented.
